CERAMIC BOWL
INSPIRED BY PIECES OF FABRIC I HAVE KEPT FROM OLD CLOTHES AND THE MEMORIES CONTAINED WITHIN THE PATTERNS AND TEXTURES. THE TURNING OF THE BOWL CREATES NEW EXPERIENCES IN TIME.
THE BOWL SEEMS TO BE MONOCHROME, YET IT HAS SHADES OF CREAM AND VARYING WARMTHS OF GREYS. THE MORE I WORK IN A LIMITED PALETTE, THE MORE I REALISE THAT THERE IS IN FACT NO ESCAPING COLOUR.
PENCIL AND CERAMIC GLAZES ON CERAMIC BISQUE.
